Exit Exam Web ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

- Account data: Name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
- Google SSO: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
- Telegram: If you link your Telegram account, we store your Telegram user ID and display name.
- Usage data: Quiz sessions, scores, selected departments, and bookmarks.
- Session data: We use server-side sessions stored in our database to keep you logged in.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and personalize the exam practice experience.
- To display your progress, scores, and leaderboard ranking.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., login codes, notifications) if you opt in.
- To improve the platform and detect abuse.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties except:
- Google (for OAuth authentication, if you use Google Sign-In).
- Resend (our email delivery provider) — only your email address when sending emails.
4. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@exitexams.com.
5. Cookies
We use a single session cookie (examweb.sid) to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All traffic is encrypted via HTTPS. Session tokens are stored server-side.
